Peter

From Pain to Purpose

Peter’s journey into sports massage therapy began with a deeply personal experience. After dealing with chronic back pain for over a decade and finding little relief from traditional pain medication, his first deep tissue massage was a revelation. The physical and mental relief he experienced inspired him to pursue training so he could help others facing similar struggles.

“I decided to get trained so I can aid others in a similar situation, utilizing both my knowledge and personal experience,” Peter explains.

Qualifications & Experience

With 4 years of hands-on practice, Peter brings both academic knowledge and real-world expertise to every session. He holds:

  • Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy from Spartan Strength and Conditioning Education
  • BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Brunel University

As part of his ongoing professional development, Peter has expanded his skills to include:

  • Pregnancy massage
  • Hot and cold stone massage
  • Aromatherapy
  • Indian head massage
  • Manual lymphatic drainage
  • Treatment Philosophy

Peter’s approach goes beyond addressing symptoms—he’s dedicated to finding the root cause of pain. His treatment philosophy centers on the body’s natural healing abilities, something he passionately shares with his clients through his own experience.

“Being in constant pain can affect a person on a deeper level, not just physically but mentally,” Peter notes. “My goal is to help one person at a time in hope for a ripple effect that will continue to spread and affect society as a whole.”

What to Expect

Peter’s Advice

His most common piece of guidance? “Be patient—time and consistency with treatment will always add up, regardless of the situation.” He particularly encourages older clients not to let anyone make them feel they can’t improve due to age.

Beyond the Clinic

When he’s not helping clients, Peter stays active through gym workouts and basketball. He’s also a fan of Korean TV shows and anime, and has a surprising talent—he speaks basic Japanese and has a keen interest in Japanese culture. His clients describe him as empathetic, amiable, and trustworthy.
